My name is Maarten Scholts. After my study International Business at Maastricht University, I have worked in procurement at a wholesale packaging company in the south of the Netherlands. As of then, procurement has caught my interest. After a short period of time at another company, I have been employed in 2014 as the first employee at Qando in the role of Medior Consultant.
I have carried out assignments at different clients, ranging from procurement programs at a water board to savings and purchasing professionalisation programs at the Dutch Railways. At this moment, I am working as a contract manager IT, and in this role I participate in various (European) tenders.
In addition to the these assignments, I also work at Qando with purchasing software. I am involved in pre-sales activities for Zycus and I provide training for using Zycus solutions among Zycus-clients. Knowledge sharing in this area is important for me, which I have been expressing with various editions of the Qando purchasing software research.
My passion lies in analysing (purchasing) methods, improving and implementing them; a method that adds value to an organization and meanwhile showing our Qando-way of working.
