Jasper van de Veerdonk

My name is Jasper van de Veerdonk. As of September 2017, I am writing my master thesis at Qando, as part of the master Strategic Management at Tilburg University. My research is about the influence of (1) the adoption of procurement software on (2) the performance of the procurement department.  

I was born in 1993 and living in Baarle-Nassau, the Netherlands. Currently, I am learning the theoretic aspects of the consultancy discipline at Tilburg University which I can apply to Qando in daily practice. Furthermore, I bring a Bachelor-degree Management, Economic and Laws from Avans in Breda and graduated from Summa College for Bread & Banquet.

My prior experience in purchasing is with La Place (private sector) and the municipality of Breda (public sector). At La Place, I did an internship at the procurement department and worked closely together with the procurement team members. During another internship at the municipality of Breda I have analyzed the procurement department for possible improvements and wrote an advisory report.

The thing I love most in my professional career so far is the diversity when working in the field of procurement. I already learned many of the regulations that come with tender processes and during my time at Qando I’m hoping to learn more about the consultancy process from the perspective of a procurement agency.
